I’ve been volunteering at an art camp, and there’s a really sweet and adorable girl that loves Hetalia.
She had been struggling with depression, but she draws really cute things that make her happy. I told her that I also struggle with depression and that my art, friends and hobbies are what keep me going.
I also told her that I cosplay as Turkey and Mother Egypt, and found out that Egypt is one of her favorite characters!
She left a little gold envelope (addressed to Turkey/ Mama Egypt) on top of my sketchbook, and it had this sweet drawing inside~

Series: Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt
Photography: Smile Jade Photography
Garterbelt: Artie Drawings
Stocking: The Crippled Muse

This was one of my favorites for three reasons: First, this was my debut of my Garterbelt cosplay, which I love and feel so confident in! Second, it was a shoot with one of the best photographers I know. And third, it was with an artist/cosplayer/amazing friend I admire very much!

Turkey in Istanbul

I was on vacation in Istanbul in November. Since I already cosplay as Turkey/Sadik (Axis Powers Hetalia), I couldn’t possibly pass up this opportunity! So I took the cosplay with me. <3 The locals could tell that this was obviously a costume, so I attracted quite a bit of attention. People asked me for my picture several times, it made me so happy!
